My initial thought was about how I want a child, but only if he’s this cool… The rest of me is like “nice bondage gear kid.”  Yay for baby edward either way.

Sometimes I wonder if the kids chose these costumes or did the parents? Is Edward Scissorhands pop-culturally relevant to what I’m assuming is a >10 year old?

My sister dressed as Princess Leia (by choice) when she was 6, Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas at 7 (before it got trendy again and was everywhere) and has been various other cool things before and since then. Her friends often don’t get it and she has to explain to them, but having a sister 8 years older than her exposed her to loads more culture and pop-culture than is typical.
